In the last few years, I have designed two multimedia presentations that weave together nature-inspired visual art and poetry from many different cultures. Both presentations are around one hour in length, including opening comments and time allowed for brief questions. If your group is interested in scheduling either program. please contact me by email. For listings of recent and upcoming presentation venues, visit my calendar page.
Trees of Life explores the background of the Tree of Life image as it appears throughout world art, mythology and religion. It includes a section documenting "Tree Ceremonies and Tradtitions", and has been particularly popular for Arbor Day and Tu b'Shevat celebrations.
Garden Sanctuaries for Reflection and Renewal, was included in the 2006 Northwest Flower and Garden Show. It features nature-insprired art, music, poetry and a variety of practical ideas for creating your personal garden retreat. Photos of my own garden, (inlcuded in the 2003 Seattle Audubon Society publication, Gardening for Life), help illustrate the "garden sanctuary" concept. |
